Tennessee Girl Scout Camporee
Join the 100th celebration with Girl Scouts across Tennessee! Girl Scouts Heart of the South, Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee and Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians are coming together at Camp Sycamore Hills to celebrate. Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies are invited for Saturday programming and fun. The event includes 5 activities and a patch.
GIRL SCOUT DAISIES & BROWNIES – DAY-ONLY
October 13, 10:00 AM– 7:00 PM
Early Bird Event Fees: $20 girl, $0 Adults meeting Girl/Adult Ratio Requirements, $10 adult event volunteer, $20 additional adults who do not volunteer to help with the camporee
*GSHS is working to secure a block of rooms relatively nearby for Daisy and Brownie troops who wish to drive in on Friday and/or stay over on Saturday. We will post this information as soon as possible.
Activity choices for Girl Scout Daisies & Brownies include climbing wall, creek stomping, hiking, jewelry, leather works, letter boxing, loving and grooming (horse program), obstacle course, outdoor cooking, outdoor skills, portable rock wall, racketeering, screen printing, spelunker box, swaps, tie dye, wagon ride, wide games, weird science.
GIRL SCOUT JUNIORS, CADETTES, SENIORS & AMBASSADORS
October 12 – 14, 7:00 PM Friday – 11:00 AM Sunday
Early Bird Event Fees: $40 girl, $0 Adults meeting Girl/Adult Ratio Requirements, $20 adult event volunteer, $40 additional adults who do not volunteer to help with the camporee
Activity choices for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors include archery, beginning canoe, block printing, climbing wall, creek stomping, flying squirrel, geocaching, high challenge courses, hiking, jewelry, leather works, letter boxing, obstacle course, orienteering, outdoor cooking, outdoor skills, portable rock wall, rappel bluff, ring riding (horse program) racketeering, screen printing, spelunker box, swaps, team adventure course, tie dye, wagon ride, tom boy tools, trail rides (horse program), tree climbing, wide games, weird science or zip line.

Tennessee Girl Scout Camporee registration opens
Monday, February 20th at 9:00 a.m.
Registration fees are due at the time of registration.
Accommodations are limited to what is available on-site for overnight participants and are First Come, First Served. All other overnight participants will utilize the designated, primitive camping areas and must bring their own tents and overnight equipment.
Girl Scouts from Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi are invited to this event.
Early Bird Deadline
Daisy and Brownie Day Event Fees for registrations received after June 30 are $25 girls, $25 adults and $15 for volunteering adults. No fees for adults meeting girl/adult ratios. Junior, Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Weekend Event Fees for registrations received after June 30 are $45 girls, $45 additional adults and $25 for volunteering adults. No fees for adults meeting girl/adult ratios.
You must follow Safety Activity Check Point Girl/Adult Ratios. Additional adults may attend with Daisies and Brownies for a fee of $20 or may apply to volunteer for a 4 hour commitment at a reduced fee of $10. Additional adults may attend with Juniors and up for a fee of $40 or may apply to volunteer for a 4-hour commitment at a reduced fee of $20.
Volunteer Opportunities
Additional volunteers can save some money by volunteering during the event. Volunteers meeting Girl/Adult Ratios for their group, must remain with their girls and are not eligible to volunteer during the camporee. Volunteer information and descriptions can be found here.
