New 100th Anniversary Patch: “Our Girl Scout Story”

Your troop now has the opportunity to earn the council’s new patch created for Girl Scouts’ 100th Anniversary called “Your Girl Scout Story.” Troop leaders may go to the council shop at their local service center to check out wheelies (suitcases on wheels) containing all the program resources needed to earn the patch. Wheelies include a vintage uniform and handbook, a 1918 silent movie about Girl Scouts called  the “The Golden Eaglet” on DVD, and a leader information booklet.  (Leaders may check out just the DVD and make copies of the leader information booklet.) A $20 deposit is required to check-out a wheelie or borrow the DVD.

A committee from the Museum at Daisy’s Place developed the patch requirements and gathered the resources for the wheelies.
