Girl Scout Day at Biltmore

Biltmore Estate in Asheville is hosting it’s first-ever Girl Scout Day on June 1. The mansion was build by George Washington Vanderbilt between 1889 and 1895 and is still owned by one of his descendants. With almost 180,000 square feet and 250 rooms, Biltmore is the largest private home in the country.

Girls and adults will take a self-guided tour of the majestic house and gardens, visit the conservatory, and explore Antler Hill Village. Antler Hill Barn will be set up with hands-on activities and learning stations about gardening, forestry, Appalachian culture, and more.

Date: June 1
Cost: $15 Girl Scouts/$38 Adults
