Camp Sky-Wa-Mo, whose name means “Sky, Water, Mountains,” is nestled alongside Cherokee National Forest and bordered by beautiful green landscapes in Bluff City, TN. Camps are essential educational experiences for girls. Girl Scout camps teach girls leadership skills and improve girls’ confidence and independence. Now Open to Troops and Service Units!
Camp Sky-Wa-Mo is reopening for troop and group camping or activity on July 11, and you may make your reservations now.
All tent camping areas and the primitive camping area will be open for use for interested troops and service units. The Ferndale and Lakeview tent camping areas will also be open for camping in tandem with the associated lodges as in the past. However, because of several outstanding maintenance and upgrade needs identified during the recent property review, no other buildings or facilities will be opened for use at this time. The pool and lake areas will also remain closed, and the camp will not have a ranger on site.
