GSCSA Servicemark

The preferred placement for the Servicemark is on the left third of the page. The Servicemark should always maintain g-space (clear space around the mark where no text or art can be placed). Do NOT stretch or modify logos or servicemarks in any way.

Girl Scout Servicemark

The Girl Scout Servicemark is the primary brand mark. Servicemark configuration (consisting of the words “girl scouts” and the iconic Girl Scout Profiles) creates a feeling of leadership and forward momentum. The preferred placement for the Servicemark is on the left third of the page. The Servicemark should always maintain g-space (clear space around the mark where no text or art can be placed).

Trefoils

The Trefoil is a mark with great history. It is not to be made into a character, made to hold photography, or re-rendered in any way. Apply the Trefoil as green (PMS 355 C/U) or white (preferably on green background). Text within the Trefoil should be either green (PMS 355 C/U) or white. Note: tinting a green Trefoil to 80 percent of PMS 355 is permissible, but it should only be applied over a solid green background.

The Trefoil should always be a Trefoil--not a flower, not a leaf, not a snowflake. It should retain its original meaning: the three parts of the Trefoil design stand for the three parts of the Girl Scout Promise. The Trefoil does not require a registration mark (®) at this time.

 Brand checklist

If you’re making your own flyer, form, or other piece of Girl Scout material, follow this easy checklist to make sure it matches our Girl Scout brand:

  1. Three colors: All Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians materials should use three main colors: black, white and Girl Scout green! You can tell if it's Girl Scout green by the hex number (#00ae58), rgb number (r0 g174 b88), or PMS number (355).
  2. Servicemark: Is our servicemark in the top left-hand corner of your document? If so, great! If not, please add it.
  3. Full Name: Instead of shortening our organization's name to GSCSA, please use our full name—Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians or Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians. This helps people recognize our organization and limits confusion.
  4. Font: Please use Arial for all your Girl Scout communications!
