Member Services Representative

Do you provide extraordinary customer service via phone, in-person, and email? Would you enjoy being part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to girls and young women? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking a full-time Member Services Representative for our service center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Under guidance of the Member Services Manager, the Member Services Representative is the first point of customer contact for inquiries via phone, email or in person, including retail shops. Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all current and prospective members, both external and internal, by utilizing all systems, policies, and procedures established by the Council.

Outdoor Program Facilitator

Would you enjoy delivering Girl Scout outdoor programs to girls? Are you interested in seasonal part-time work? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking outdoor program facilitators at our camp locations in Johnson City and Andersonville, Tennessee, and on Lookout Mountain in Georgia. Hours are usually on Saturdays in the fall and spring. Responsibilities are dependent on activities available at each camp.

Product Services Representative

Program Facilitator

Would you enjoy delivering Girl Scout programs to girls? Are you interested in seasonal part-time work? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking a program facilitator in the Knox County area who will work with groups of girls in community-based locations. Positions may have a known ending date or may be subject to whether funding is available for the sites. Hours are typically late afternoons and approximately 5-8 hours per week.

Recruiter

Would you enjoy talking about the fun and excitement of Girl Scouting to potential new girl members and adult volunteers? Are you interested in seasonal part-time work? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking multiple recruiters in southwestern Virginia and northeastern Tennessee who will share the benefits of Girl Scouting with girls and adults during school talks and parent nights this fall.

Multiple positions are available. Recruiters must be at least 18 years of age. Weekly schedules range from 8-12 hours from October through mid November and may include early mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. Recruiters must have personal transportation to drive to assigned schools. Hourly Rate is $12.00.
