Customer Care Coordinator

Do you provide extraordinary customer service? Would you enjoy being part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to girls and young women? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking a Customer Care Coordinator for our service center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Under guidance of the Director of Operational Support, the Customer Care Coordinator is the first point of customer contact for inquiries via phone, email or in person. Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to all members, both external and internal, by utilizing all systems, policies, and procedures established by the council. This position will focus on recruiting volunteers via phone and placing girls in troops.

Would you enjoy talking about the fun and excitement of Girl Scouting to potential new members? Are you interested in seasonal part-time work? If yes, the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking multiple recruiters who will share the benefits of Girl Scouting with girls and adults during school talks and parent nights this fall. Multiple positions are available from August through October. Positions are approximately 10-20 hours a week and may include evenings or days. Hourly Rate is $12.00.

Seasonal openings for Camp Adahi and Camp Tanasi

Work some weekends in a beautiful outdoor setting. The following paid positions are available.

Seasonal openings at Camp Adahi:

Right Arrow

Horseback Instructor: Requires 2 years documented experience teaching horseback riding and/or Certified Horsemanship Association Certification.

Right Arrow

Canoe Instructor: Requires 2 years documented experience or American Red Cross Small Craft Safety and/or American Canoe Instructor Certification (flat water).

Archery Instructor: Requires Level 1 Instructor or higher certification.

Lifeguard: Requires current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Kitchen Assistants: Requires current Serve Safe Certification.

Seasonal openings at Camp Tanasi:

Climbing/Rappelling Tower Instructor: Requires training on our tower, which is provided annually.

All positions except kitchen assistants require current basic first aid training or higher AND CPR. Minimum age 16 years old.

Paid positions offer opportunities for weekend work. Scheduling of hours is based on activity requests by Girl Scout troops.
