July Green Spot: Kameron Hanshaw

This month's Green Spot volunteer is Kameron Hanshaw from Emory Valley Service Unit.

Kameron has been a Girl Scout since she was a kid. Her mom, Tracy Jarnigan, was her troop's volunteer! Side note: Kameron’s Ambassador to Girl Scout adult bridging ceremony was ziplining from one point to the next. How cool is that?!

She became a lifetime member in 2015 after high school graduation. She is now a multi-level troop administrator for Troop 20769 and the girl awards coordinator for Emory Valley Service Unit!

Kameron earned her high awards and loves helping girls brainstorm and plan theirs! She is always eager to talk to a girl about the value of the awards. She acts as a mentor to Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors and wants to help them make Girl Scouts fun, meaningful, and relevant. She looks forward to helping girls plan meetings and events and helping them navigate how to fit Girl Scouts into their busy schedules.

Thank you, Kameron, for your dedication and your positive, can-do attitude!
