The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is hosting the 17th Annual Spring Planting and Music Festival this April! It’s free to attend!

The festival celebrates the Appalachian way of life that's such a huge part of Big South Fork history.There will be plowing and planting demonstrations as well as musical performances, children's activities, interpretative talks, vendor demonstrations, and food sales. 

There will be activities at the Bandy Creek Visitors Center, Lora Blevins home site, and the Oscar Blevins farm. Shuttles will be running between the three sites.
