First Aid CPR/AED Certification for Volunteers/High School Girls

This course is taught by emergency medical professionals and teaches critical skills in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students get hands-on practice on how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches CPR and AED use. This is a 2 year certification in First Aid/CPR and includes a certification card!

For Volunteers:  For many activities, Girl Scouts recommends that at least one adult volunteer be first-aid/CPR-certified.  Since this is a requirement, troop funds may be used to acquire this certification. This class completes this certification. 

For Senior and Ambassador Scouts:  This class will complete the First Aid Badge requirements - Badge is NOT included.
