Bring your friends and colleagues to sample savory appetizers and the sweetest desserts – all inspired by Girl Scout Cookies! Chefs from area restaurants are asked to put a new spin on an old favorite. Sweet or savory, chefs may use any of the eight varieties of Girl Scout cookies to create and serve up their signature item of choice. Enjoy cocktails while listening to live music from Old City Buskers.

“Celebrity” judges include Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett, former Vols basketball star Dane Bradshaw and food editor for the Knoxville News Sentinel Mary Constantine. Attendees will also have the chance to vote for “People’s Choice” winners. From Tag-a-longs to Thin Mints, there is no shortage of creativity.

Chefs from Knoxville Catering, Coolato Gelato, Magpies Bakery, Nama Sushi Bar, The Crown & Goose, Echo Bistro and Wine Bar, Roman’s Pizza, and Chez Liberty will be showcasing items.

Be a part of Knoxville culinary history for this first-ever event, and help support Girl Scouts as we celebrate our 100th Anniversary in 2012. Help us make 2012 “The Year of the Girl!”

We recommend that you print out your registration for expediency, but your name will be on a list at the registration table on the night of the event.
