First aid is required for physically demanding activities and other activities involving a potential for injury.  There are 2 levels of first aid training:

Level 1: Training is requiired of the adult acting as the primary "first aider" for the Girl Scout group activities indicated in the activity checkpoints.

Level 2: Training is required of the adult "first aider" at resident camp, core staff and family camp, day events, overnights, and camping events with more than 200 participatns. This training is also need when activity checkpoints in Safety Wise indicate level 2 is needed.
