A Teen Odyssey in Pottery

Girls will draw, and then sculpt a clay mask out of brown speckled stoneware. The instructor will teach the girls the proper technique for scoring the clay and attaching pieces together. The masks will be fired in a kiln and ready for pickup in 8-10 days. Following the hands-on art project, students will tour a clay studio and learn how kilns are fired.
