Leadership Essentials-Knoxville

The Girl Scout Program is the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.  This includes:
  • what we do with girls
  • how we do it
  • how girls will benefit
In the past we only focused on what we do in Girl Scouts; the activities, badge work and events. What is different is the focus on the processes or the “how” – both how the activities work to achieve the final outcomes and how the girls benefit by reaching those outcomes.  The final outcome is, of course, to help girls lead with courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place. Since the Girl Scout Leadership Experience model is at the heart of Girl Scouting it is essential that we help everyone understand her role and how to effectively deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls and do it in a purposeful way.
