2014 Cookie Pricing

On September 19, Janice Greer (our council’s Board of Directors Chair) announced that cookies will be $4.00 per box effective for the 2014 sale. Please review this document for more information about the price increase, and all other news for the 2014 Cookie Program.  Be sure to communicate this to your troops so everyone is aware of this important announcement.

Training

New online training
Online Training is now hosted on the Little Brownie VIP eTraining website. You must request access to the site before you can log in to view the training modules, on the “From the Council’ tab. Please submit the form to request access by filling out your name and email and by selecting TENNEESSEE as your state and GIRL SCOUT COUNCIL OF THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS as your council. You can then select your Service Unit and add your troop number. Your log in information will be emailed to you.

Booth Signups

The booth signups for the 2014 sale is as follows:
1/28/14 open at 12:00 noon
1/29/14 close at 12:00 noon
1/29/14 open at 6:00 pm
1/30/14 close at 6:00 pm
1/30/14 open at 9:00 pm
1/31/14 close at 9:00 pm
2/1/14 open at 8:00 am and stay open

Once the booth sale sites open in eBudde at designated time, troops will be able to sign up for 3 booth locations at a time.

Booth locations will be entered beginning Jan 22, so check often to preview which sites are available. Ask your Service Unit volunteers for help!

Booths are a great way to help your girls sell well, but please make sure your girls are available to sell and that all the booths you pick are convenient for your troop. If you sign up for a booth but do not have girls to work it, remember to delete it from your list so that other troops can pick it up! eBudde booth signups automatically feed into the cookie locator, so if you are not at your booth when you say you are going to be there – customers may miss out on cookies.

Sweet Seller-brations

We are excited to offer “Sweet Seller-bration” events this year. A girl who earns the individual distinction of becoming a Sweet Seller will be invited, along with her family, to attend any one of these three events. She’ll get to walk the red carpet, have her picture taken by our very own ‘paparazzi’, and be honored as a Sweet Seller for 2014. Troops that earn the group award will be honored as a team and will get a chance to celebrate together. Check your order cards for details. Service Unit and Troop volunteers will also be invited to attend as we celebrate the successes of all your hard work. Honorees will be asked to register for the event they wish to attend so that we can guarantee it is a special celebration for everyone who has earned this distinction.

Johnson City: May 4 at The Charles (308 E Main St.)
Knoxville: May 18 at The Lighthouse (6800 Baum Dr.)
