Intro to Leading Courses
Intro to Leading Training dates are listed on the events page of the website. More than 100 trainings have been scheduled for the fall across the council’s jurisdiction in a variety of locations. Volunteers should feel free to attend any course throughout the council.
Troop Camp Basics
If you have never completed previous Girl Scout Camp Training, an adult in the troop must complete Troop Camp Basics before your troop camps. The course is also recommended before day hiking. Troop Camp Basics covers the essentials for a fun, safe, and enriching camping experience. Find training dates on the online Event Calendar or request a training in your area.
If a registered adult Girl Scout leader, volunteer, or parent has previous outdoor and camping experience you are eligible to take the Troop Camp Basics Test-Out Exam. Using the Troop Camp Basics Manual, please print and fill out the exam and return to GSCSA.
