Orientation

  • To access the Volunteer Orientation e-Learning Module, click here.
  • Choose the applicable language.
  • When the password box appears, the password is:  discover for English and descubrir for Spanish.
  • At the bottom of the next page that appears is a link to the Learning Log.  Click that item and complete the Learning Log according to the following directions:

1. Enter your demographic information

2. Choose council: Southern Appalachians

3. Answer your first question

DO NOT CLOSE THE LEARNING LOG FROM YOUR TASK BAR UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED AND SUBMITTED IT.  IF YOU DO, YOU WILL LOSE ANY DATA THAT HAS BEEN ENTERED SO FAR.

  • When you are finished answering all the questions, click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your information will then be available for the Adult Development Team to review.
  • Once all the information is entered click continue. Throughout the module refer to the learning log to answer a series of questions.
  • After you have completed your questions, you will automatically receive an acknowledgment message via e-mail, which will include an access key (e.g., 1PCASNHZD).
  • Use the access key to return to your learning log and either edit or view your answers
  • Please Note: If you need to finish your learning log at a later time, you will need to click continue at the bottom of each page until you see this message “Your data input is now complete”. You need to go through this process so that the system can recognize you and generate an access key so that you can come back and finish your learning log.
