The Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians invites the public to enjoy Cookies & Cocktails 2014.
At the conclusion of this year’s Girl Scout Cookie selling season, chefs from Knoxville area restaurants and bakeries will compete for the Cookie Crown. The Challenge? Create an appetizer or dessert taste sampling using Girl Scout Cookies as an ingredient. Enjoy live music and learn about the benefits of the Girl Scout Cookie Program in a fun, festive environment. Celebrity judges will crown the Cookies & Cocktails champion.

Girl Scouts enjoy activities, crafts and more at Bristol Motor Speedway

BRISTOL, Tenn. – More than 500 Girl Scouts and their families gathered at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend for Bristol Motor Speedway Overnight, an event produced by the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians to celebrate 100 years of the Girl Scouts organization. Girl Scouts to host event for community at Bristol Motor Speedway

Bristol, Tenn. – Any and all members of the community are invited to celebrate with the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians (GSCSA) when it hosts Bristol Motor Speedway Overnight, an event intended to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting. Girl Scouts to celebrate 100 years in downtown Chattanooga

City of LaFollette, Tenn. recognizes 100 years of Girl Scouts and proclaims 2012 “The Year of the Girl”

On Feb. 29, Mayor Mike Stanfield met with Girl Scout Troop 20127 and Ms. Von Wilson and Mishonda Monday from Troop 20208 to present them with the proclamation that declared 2012 “The Year of the Girl.” In 2010, Troop 20127 met Mayor Stanfield and Officer Glennis Monday at Sgt.
