Winterplace Ski Resort

Before heading back to school, spend some time on the slopes! Join us on a multi-day trip for two days of downhill skiing or snowboarding at Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia. A charter bus will pick up participants at each of the service centers before heading to the resort on Thurs., Jan. 2. Then spend Friday and Saturday on the slopes, and head back home on Sunday. Winterplace has 27 trails, 9 lifts, 2 terrain parks, West Virginia’s largest Snowtubing Park as well as the largest teaching area in the southeast. Visit their website at www.winterplace.com.

BASE FEE (required per person-included in total price):

  • $150 includes charter bus transportation, three nights lodging, three breakfasts*, and two lunches**.

ADD-ONS (choose one per person):

  • SKI- $110 includes two-day lift ticket, rental, helmet and lesson.
  • SNOWBOARD- $145 includes two-day lift ticket, rental, helmet and lesson.
  • LIFT- $85 includes two-day lift ticket only.
  • NONE- Only acting as chaperon

OPTIONAL (can be added additionally per person):

  • SNOW TUBING-$14 includes: two hours of snow tubing (height requirement for children is 44 inches or taller.)

Lessons are for all ability levels from beginner to expert. Ski bibs are available to rent onsite for $9 per day; first come, first serve. Lodging is “sleep over” style; air mattresses and restrooms/hot showers provided and we may be sharing the space with other groups. You must bring a bedroll or sleeping bag. Girls MUST come with an adult chaperon (parent or troop leader) and ski/snowboard with a buddy (girl or adult).

*Breakfast consists of hot cakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon and juice.

**Lunch consists of sandwich/burger/chicken tenders/hot dog, fries and drink.All other meals must be provided by participants.

CAMP VOUCHERS: You may use your camp vouchers for this event. If you are using a camp voucher, you cannot register for this event online because you must pay with a card for the registration to go through. To register for this event using a camp voucher, please fill out the Event Registration Form and turn it in to our Knoxville Service Center with the the camp voucher.
