Beyond a Brick offers a LEGO Robotics workshop for Juniors and up. Workshops are designed to stimulate creativity, problem-solving and team-working skills, allowing girls to explore problems and invent solutions. Minimum number of girls: 10 / Maximum number of girls: 30.

The Muse Knoxville
The Muse Knoxville is a hands-on children's science museum with a mission to inspire and empower generations at the intersection of science and art. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math topics are represented throughout the museum. While most experiences are for kids up to age 10, there are activities for all ages! Add a Planetarium Show (helps with Sky and Night Owl badges) or Science Activity (from Home Scientist or Detective badges) to your field trip for an extra fee.
Planetarium: The planetarium features movies on a range of topics in astronomy, or choose "Knoxville Skies," a guided star tour. Must be combined with museum admission except for Tuesday and Friday 4:30 star shows or by special arrangement.

Oak Ridge Healthy Waters Program - City of Oak Ridge Stormwater
The Healthy Waters Program is an outreach program within the Stormwater Management Division of the City of Oak Ridge Public Works Department, hosted by the resident AmeriCorps members. This program offers lessons and hands-on activities including games, crafts, experiments and volunteer opportunities for students of all ages dealing with water conservation and quality and basic stormwater principles. This program can be taken on the road to all troop meetings within the City of Oak Ridge.

Space Public Outreach Team
The Space Public Outreach Team (SPOT) is a program run by the Maryland Space Grant. Volunteers are trained and certified to give science, engineering, and space related presentations to the public. Presentations are available for troop meetings or other events. Girls must be accompanied by an adult.

Tennessee Army National Guard
Tour the Tennessee Army National Guard facility, an Aviation Evacuation Unit that uses and maintains helicopters. See a Black Hawk helicopter, tour the operations center, and meet some of the soldiers. Girls must be accompanied by an adult; ratios while touring the facility are the responsibility of the volunteers.

Rocky Mount Museum - Woodworker badge
Earn your Woodworker badge at Rocky Mount State Historic Site. Examine the handiwork of hand-built historic log homes and learn many of the techniques of woodcraft used though the centuries. Each Girl Scout will make a finished woodworking project while learning the basics of carpentry. This program takes about three hours.

Chattanooga Zoo
Two-hour badge workshops led by knowledgeable and experiences staff are available by request. Badge workshops include What are Pets? for Brownies, Naturalist Gardener and Animals & Habitats for Juniors, Naturally Nocturnal for Cadettes, and Voice in Conservation for Seniors. Overnights are also available. Minimum of 8 girls required.
