BridgesEAST's presentation will focus on the wide range of support
they offer, including sign language interpretation, advocacy,
educational resources, and community outreach programs. Additionally,
BridgesEAST will teach a few basic sign language skills to the Girl
Scouts, helping them learn important communication tools and fostering
a sense of inclusion. Attendees will learn how BridgesEAST works to
enhance communication, accessibility, and inclusion, ensuring that
individuals within the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities can fully
engage in their everyday lives and have equal opportunities for
success.
Girls will earn a Sign Language patch for participating.
