If yes, then the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians is seeking you as a candidate for Director of the Tennessee Valley and North Georgia Region based out of our Chattanooga leadership center. This position is responsible for managing recruitment and volunteer support in the Chattanooga metropolitan area and surrounding counties.
Under guidance of the Senior Director of Membership, the Regional Director manages and provides ongoing recruitment, training, and mentoring to volunteers and parents within a geographic area by supporting them in the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE) in keeping with GSCSA’s mission and strategy. Supervises staff in assigned area. Collaborates council-wide with staff and volunteers to develop and manage initiatives that increase girl participation, address girl needs within local communities, and target underserved populations as identified and prioritized within each community. Build and develops exceptional volunteer teams and promotes Council program offerings (including the fall and cookie product programs) as well as provides meaningful adult learning opportunities. Assists with measurable outcome evaluation of GSLE programs (including fall product and cookie sales).

If yes, then the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians is seeking a candidate like you for our full-time Relationship Specialist positions. We have two office-based positions—one in Johnson City, Tennessee and one in Chattanooga, TN.
Under the guidance of the Regional Director, the non-exempt Relationship Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective sales techniques to convert leads and prospects into girl and adult members in assigned geographic area. This includes recruiting girls to participate in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, recruiting adult volunteers to deliver and support programming, and assisting other team members with recruitment and volunteer support.
Would you enjoy delivering Girl Scout programs to girls? Are you interested in part-time work? If yes, the Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians is looking for you. We are seeking Program Facilitators who will work with groups of girls in community-based locations. Positions may have a known ending date or may be subject to whether funding is available for the sites. We have 2 positions available—one based at one or more sites in Hamilton County (10-15 hours a week) and one based at multiple sites in Knox County (10-20 hours a week). Hours are typically late afternoons.
Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to commute to assigned location(s). Hourly Rate is $16.00 an hour. Paid training is provided. Annual background check required.
