They will learn to create their identity, identify private information, and share information safely. They'll explore the importance of trust online, test their knowledge of safety rules, and understand digital footprints. As aspiring cybersecurity investigators, they'll crack codes, differentiate real from fake in photos, and uncover how computer viruses spread. By earning these badges, they'll be equipped with the skills to protect themselves online and use investigative techniques to solve cyber mysteries.
After completing the workshop, the student may purchase her badge. It's important to note that STEM the Gap Academy does not provide badges for completing the workshop.
