This activity is open to Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors. Seniors
will earn the Paddling badge (badge is NOT included). All boats and
equipment are provided. On-water activity is reserved for the girls
but adults may participate in the land-based activities and observe
the water-based activities from land. Parents/guardians must sign our
electronic waiver on behalf of their child prior to arriving, link
will be provided upon registering.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador Girl Scout.
- Be in overall good health.
- Know how to swim.
- Participants must have a annual swim test: http://www.girlscoutcsa.org/content/dam/southern-appalachian/documents/Annual%20Swim%20Test%20Form_writeable.pdf) on file with troop. If not in a troop, parent/guardian is responsible for insuring girl can swim.
What to bring with you:
- Drinking Water/Sport Drink
- Lunch
- Water Shoes
- Swimsuit - One-piece is preferred.
- Towel
- Sunscreen
