Get your wings ready! Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors are invited to Girl Scout Aviation Day at Northeast State Community College Aviation Technologies. Cost includes cool swag, and a custom Girl Scout-Northeast State Aviation patch.
During this event, girls will:
- Learn about aviation careers and salaries.
- Step into a $120,000 flight simulator and experience what it's like to fly a plane.
- Learn about different types of aircraft.
- Become Rosie the Riveter by learning to shoot rivets to build a plane.
- Start and run an aircraft engine.
- Perform a pre-flight inspection.
- And more!
This IS a drop off event. Participants will need to bring a lunch, snacks, and water bottle.
Parents/Guardians must complete and sign the Model Release Form for each attendee.
Due to the popularity of this event, we ask that you only sign up if you know you will be able to attend. Please be a good sister to other Girl Scouts and only claim the spots you know you need.
