Oak Ridge Computer Science Girls offers free virtual (and in person) classes for girls, giving the opportunity to actively explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. Class topic range from robotics, machine learning and coding in Python to computer art and science. Each class is self contained and no or very little prior experience is needed.

STEM the Gap Academy
At STEM the Gap Academy, we are women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics committed to inspiring, educating, and empowering the next generation of girls in STEM. We encourage girls to show up, give it a try, and know that mistakes are not setbacks, but rather powerful opportunities to grow, learn, and shine.
We offer virtual classes in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, coding and chess. Because we work with many councils, our online classes include girls from all over America, showing the sisterhood of Girl Scouts.
We also offer private classes for troops with 10 girls or more.

Sustainable Happiness Together
Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies will be empowered to become their most confident, best selves and have a strong foundation for life with our interactive, self-paced mini-lessons. Our program is designed for Girl Scout troops to self-guide through our 15-minute lessons per week over the course of 6 weeks. These hands-on, thought-provoking, self-reflection activities are a great way to start or end your troop meetings. Girls can then practice the skills between meetings.
Girl Scouts will learn ways to foster: a growth mindset, more happiness, resilience, and ways to be calm every day. This course merges the butterfly life cycle with critical social emotional learning tools. Girl Scouts can have more fun with the included Be Present to Catch Happiness game. And the Daily Habits with the Bright Butterfly (a habit tracker included in the course) encourages them to have good habits for life. Most of the tools and techniques they will learn are backed by science and all of the information is delivered in engaging activities.
If purchased, parents of Girl Scouts will receive a discounted rate for the Lessons from the Bright Butterfly for Families to reinforce what they’ve learned at home.

Twists N Turns - Immersive Murder Mystery Experiences
Twists N Turns presents a unique and interactive detective game experience in which children become active participants in our immersive stories and must work together as a team to unravel the plot before time runs out.
These experiences will give your Girl Scouts the chance to test their critical thinking skills in hypothetical situations based in fantasy and reality. Girls will learn how to excel in puzzles and riddles that involve colors, wordplay, shapes, and math. Throughout the activities, they will be encouraged to share and debate hypotheses with their peers to ultimately work together to solve the mystery before the class ends.
Girls can sign up to join a class individually or with her troop, or with girls from another troop. Also, troops can schedule a special class event just for their troop for a flat fee.

The Ghost of Pandora's Manor
Rumor has it that some kids went missing while trick-or-treating at Pandora’s Manor. The locals and police haven’t dared to investigate because word has it there is a ghost that roams the premises. We have been hired to enter and sleuth out what has actually happened so the mystery can finally be solved.
