Juniors will learn the essentials of staying safe and secure online while exploring the exciting world of digital game design and app development. They will start by creating and protecting their online identities, understanding the importance of strong passwords, and learning how to share information responsibly. Additionally, they'll dive into the realm of cybersecurity, where they'll crack codes, explore identity theft, and learn to distinguish between real and fake information. By the end of this class, Juniors will have earned their Digital Game Design and App Development badge, gaining the skills to protect themselves online and create their own digital games and apps with confidence.
After completing the workshop, the student may purchase her badge. It's important to note that STEM the Gap Academy does not provide badges for completing the workshop.
