By becoming curious explorers, children will catch and release butterflies, beetles, and more as they investigate the meadows of Ijams with special tools like nets and bug boxes. They'll learn about the life cycles of these animals, discover their importance in the ecosystem, and walk away with newfound naturalist skills.

This program is perfect for Brownie or Junior Girl Scouts focusing on the "Bugs" or "Flowers" badge.

Ecosystem Explorers Series: The Ecosystem Explorers Series is a series of outdoor, experiential education programs created for children of various ages. Throughout the year, children will get to explore different topics like birds, pollinators, eco-art, and more with their family through short, impactful programs meant to foster creativity and curiosity of the natural world. There is no commitment to join for each program, but families are encouraged to join for as many as possible!
