High Country Adventures
High Country Adventures is an outdoor recreation company that was created in 1975 to provide safe, fun outdoor activities in white water rafting and rock climbing. HCA operates on 24 acres in Polk County, Tennessee, that include reservation offices, conference room, retail store, pavilion, campground, and mountain cabins. Raccoon Mountain Caverns & Campground
Engage with the outdoors through various activities such as camping, cave tours, and gem panning, all available on a single property. Visitors can camp, share ghost stories by a campfire while enjoying s'mores, and explore our live eco-system cave. The property features over five miles of cave trails, including the Crystal Palace walking tour, which covers the history, geology, and beautiful formations of the cave, as well as the more adventurous Wild Cave Expeditions, our down and dirty crawl—climb and squeeze your way through the cave! We have programs designed for specific age groups, teaching conservation and preservation of our wildlife that reside in the cave.
